Perfil profesional y plan de estudios en la carrera profesional de Enfermería a nivel de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Universidad Privada San Juan Bautista y Universidad Peruana los Andes Filial - Lima

Abstract

En los últimos años se ve una mayor tendencia de revisión del perfil profesional y el plan de estudios en las instituciones de formación académica universitaria, siendo motivo de reuniones académicas en la Asamblea Nacional de Rectores y campus del sistema educativo de la Universidad Peruana. Estas revisiones de las herramientas de gestión académica en el nivel universitario son provocadas por diversos factores, como la repercusión de los pilares del saber y la presencia del enfoque por competencias, en nuestro medio el sistema universitario nacional está recibiendo el impacto de esta tendencia, sin embargo aún se mantiene la tradición positivista en la mayoría de universidades, según la Asamblea Nacional de Rectores. El presente trabajo identificó la relación entre el perfil profesional y el plan de estudios en la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Universidad Privada San Juan Bautista y Universidad Peruana Los Andes Filial-Lima, teniendo en cuenta la formación general, el perfil de formación profesional específico y su relación con las sumillas, la distribución porcentual de horas y créditos de los cursos por áreas y la correspondencia del sílabos con el plan curricular. La investigación se realizó en las escuelas de la carrera profesional de enfermería, mediante un estudio descriptivo-comparativo, la muestra se determinó mediante un muestreo aleatorio de grupos, constituida por (90) estudiantes que acudían a las mencionadas Instituciones Universitarias y se aplicó como instrumento un cuestionario, sometido previamente a criterios de validez y confiabilidad estadística mediante juicio de expertos y estudio piloto. Se concluyó que el plan de estudios es significativo e importante para explicar el comportamiento del perfil profesional en la carrera profesional de enfermería a nivel de las tres universidades de estudio, existe coherencia entre las variables y están correlacionadas a un nivel significativo al 5 %, para lo cual se utilizó la prueba del Chi-cuadrado, se ajustaron los valores mediante la tabla de contingencia y para comprobar ésta asociación se aplicó la regresión lineal simple. Se encontró que no existe relación entre la formación del perfil general y las sumillas en San Juan Bautista y Los Andes, más en San Marcos su relación es débil. No existe relación entre la formación del perfil general y la distribución porcentual de horas y créditos de cursos por áreas en la prueba de regresión lineal, alcanzando un bajo valor el coeficiente de correlación en las universidades. No existe relación entre la formación del perfil general con la correspondencia del sílabo y el plan curricular; tampoco existe relación entre la formación del perfil profesional específico y las sumillas en ninguna universidad de estudio. Existe relación entre la formación del perfil profesional específico y la distribución porcentual de horas/ créditos por áreas a nivel de San Juan Bautista y Los Andes, menos en San Marcos. Se encontró que está asociado el perfil profesional específico y la correspondencia del sílabo y plan curricular en las tres universidades, teniendo la UPLA una débil correlación.

In the last years a greater tendency of revision of the professional profile and the curriculum in the institutions of university academic formation is seen, being reason for academic meetings in the National Assembly of Directors and campus of the educative system of the Peruvian University. These revisions of the tools of academic management in the university level are caused by diverse factors, as the repercussion of the pillars of the knowledge and the presence of the approach by competitions, in our means the national university system is taking the hit of this tendency, nevertheless still stays the positivista tradition in most of universities, according to the National Assembly of Directors. The present work identified the relation between the professional profile and the curriculum in the Greater National University of San Marcos, Private University San Juan Baptist and Peruvian University The Andes Branch-File, considering the general formation, the specific profile of professional formation and its relation with sumillas, the percentage distribution of hours and credits of the courses by areas and the correspondence of the syllabus with the curricular plan. The investigation was made in the schools of the professional race of infirmary, by means of a descriptive-comparative study, the sample was determined by means of a simple random sampling, constituted by (90) students who went to the mentioned University Institutions and a questionnaire was applied like instrument, put under criteria of validity and statistical trustworthiness by means of judgment of experts previously and study pilot. Which concluded that the curriculum is significant and important to explain the behavior of the professional profile in the professional race from infirmary at level of the three universities of study, exist coherence between the variables and are correlated at a significant level to 5%, for was used the test of the Chi-square, the values by means of the contingency table adjusted and to verify this one association the simple linear regression was applied. Its relation was that relation between the formation of the general profile and sumillas in San Juan Bautista and The Andes does not exist, more in San Marcos is weak. Relation between the formation of the general profile and the percentage distribution of hours and credits of courses by areas in the test of linear regression does not exist, reaching a low value the coefficient of correlation in the universities. Relation between the formation of the general profile with the correspondence of syllabus and the curricular plan does not exist; relation between the formation of the specific professional profile and sumillas in any university of study does not exist either. Relation between the formation of the specific professional profile and the percentage distribution of hours exists credits by areas at level of San Juan Bautista and The Andes, less in San Marcos. Was that it is associate the specific professional profile and the correspondence of syllabus and curricular plan in the three universities, having the UPLA a weak correlation.
