The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between the nutritional status and the quality of life of the healthcare personnel of the Urology Department of the National Hospital Alberto Sabogal Sologuren 2018. The method used was descriptive and correlational in quantitative terms, and with a non-experimental design. The sample was 42 people. A questionnaire and an observation form were used, with a reliability of 0.875 and 0.881. Of the data obtained is 55.95% have a normal nutritional status, 26.19% a nutritional status by excess and 17.86% by default. The 45.24% present a quality of life at a regular level, 35.71% at a good level and 19.05% at a bad level. Likewise, it was obtained that the nutritional status is directly and positively related to the quality of life. Finally, it was concluded that there is a significant relationship of 0.645 executing as a result as moderate, rejecting the null hypothesis. It is recommended that the head of nursing plan and carry out demonstration workshops regarding the nutritional status that workers must present and the importance of carrying an adequate quality of life, which can generate chronic diseases mentioned in the following chapters.
