Desarrollo del enfoque comunicativo y el aprendizaje del idioma inglés en los estudiantes de Universidad Jaime Bausate y Meza

Abstract

El objetivo general del trabajo de investigación fue determinar la relación del desarrollo de habilidades del enfoque comunicativo en el aprendizaje del idioma inglés en los estudiantes de la universidad Jaime Bausate y Meza de Lima en el 2016. El tipo de investigación fue descriptivo y el nivel aplicado, el método y diseño de investigación fue correlacional. La población estuvo constituida por los alumnos del I al V ciclo de la facultad de Periodismo de la Universidad Jaime Bausate y Meza, la muestra estuvo constituida por 80 estudiantes del V ciclo de la facultad mencionada mediante un muestreo no probabilístico intencionado. El instrumento utilizado para recoger información sobre las variables fue el cuestionario constituido por 34 ítems medidos mediante escala nominal; en el caso de la primera variable Desarrollo del Enfoque Comunicativo se midieron 3 aspectos: nivel de interacción, dinámica de proceso y perfil docente y para la variable Aprendizaje del idioma inglés, se consideraron 4 aspectos: manejo de escritura, habilidades auditivas, fluidez en la pronunciación, manejo de la lectura. El instrumento fue validado por 3 expertos según la validez de contenido. Para la comprobación de las hipótesis se utilizó el estadígrafo Rho de Spearman que mide variables cualitativas con un margen de error de 0.05. Se concluye que: 1. El desarrollo del enfoque comunicativo se relaciona positivamente con el manejo de la escritura del idioma inglés. 2. El desarrollo del enfoque comunicativo se relaciona positivamente con las habilidades auditivas del idioma inglés. 3. El desarrollo del enfoque comunicativo se relaciona positivamente con la fluidez en la pronunciación del idioma inglés. 4. El desarrollo del enfoque comunicativo se relaciona positivamente con el manejo de la lectura del idioma inglés.

The general objective of the research was determine the relationship of the development of skills of the communicative approach in the learning of the English language in the students of the universidad Jaime Bausate y Meza de Lima in 2016. The type of research was descriptive and the level applied, the method and design of research was correlational. The population was made up of students from the 1st to the 5th cycle of the Faculty of journalism of the Universidad Jaime Bausate y Meza, the sample consisted of 80 students of the fifth cycle of the Faculty mentioned by sampling intentional non-probability. The instrument used to collect information about the variables was the questionnaire consisting of 34 items measured using nominal scale; in the case of the first variable of the communicative approach in development were measured 3 aspects: level of interaction, dynamic process and teaching profile and for the learning of the English language variable, 4 aspects were considered: Management writing, listening skills, fluency in the pronunciation, reading management. The instrument was validated by 3 experts depending on the validity of content. For the checking of the hypothesis is used the statistician Rho of Spearman that measured variable qualitative with a margin of error of 0.05. It concludes that: 1. El development of the communicative approach is positively related to management of writing English. 2. The development of the approach to communicative is related positively with them skills hearing of the language English. 3. The development of the approach communicative is associated positively with the fluidity in the pronunciation of the language English. 4. The development of the approach communicative is associated positively with the management of the reading of the language English.
