The objective of this study was to describe the level of emotional dependence in the beneficiaries of subsidized popular dining rooms in the district of Comas. Likewise, it presents a quantitative approach, of a descriptive type, with a non-experimental transversal design. The population consisted of 15, 000 beneficiaries of subsidized popular dining rooms in the district of Comas. The sample was non-probabilistic of intentional type, constituted by 375 beneficiaries of both sexes, with ages that fluctuated from 19 to 55 years and have had at least one relationship of couple. For the collection of information, was used the Emotional Dependence Inventory (IDE) prepared by Jesus Aiquipa Tello. The result indicates that the study sample shows 51,2% in the moderate level, 36% is in a high level, 7,2% of the sample are located in a significant level and only 5,6% are in a low o normal level. Finally, it was concluded that the analysis obtained a moderate emotional dependence in all the factors: fear of rupture (46,7%), fear and intolerance to loneliness (45,1%), priority of the couple (41,3%), need for access to the couple (48,8%), desire for exclusivity (45,1%), subordination and submission (42,7%) and desire for control and domination (48%).
