The present research has the purpose to identify the levels of perfectionism in students of primary education of an Educational Institution of Puente Piedra. The investigation is descriptive, of basic level and with a quantitative approach according to the handling of the data. The research design is non-experimental, cross-sectional. The participants were 100 students from 3rd to 6th grade of primary school between 8 and 12 years old, 48% were children and 52% were girls. For this investigation, it was used the Peruvian adaptation of the Scale of Child Perfectionism of Oros (Oros, 2003). The results show that 45% of the students present a moderate level of perfectionism and 28% of the students present high levels of perfectionism; regarding the self-demand dimension, there is 45% in the moderate level and 25% in the high level; while, in the reaction to failure dimension, they present 49% in the moderate level and 26% in the high level. In conclusion, there are moderate and high levels of perfectionism in the educational institution under study, a situation that justifies the performance of an intervention.
