The main objective of the research was to determine if the process has an impact on micro and small craft enterprises for export in Peru during the years 2012-2013. The independent variable is the impact of formalization and the dependent variable is exported. The population was formed by the owners of craft enterprises in metropolitan Lima formalized in the years 2012 to 2013 for a total of 800 SMEs craft. The final sample for research consisted of 260 craft enterprises. The instrument used in the research was the survey with 15 items (Likert scale). To measure the reliability and validity was submitted to Cronbach's alpha statistic and expert judgment respectively. The study showed that formalization has positive impact on micro and small craft enterprises for export in Peru during the years 2012-2013.
