Abstract

Los problemas que afectan a las vías respiratorias inferiores pueden variar de trastornos agudos a crónicos y muchos de ellos son graves, y pueden poner en riesgo la vida, como es el caso de este paciente. Los cuidados e intervenciones de enfermería son fundamentales para poder identificar y reducir los factores de riesgo, y poder comprender el impacto de la enfermedad sobre la calidad de vida y su capacidad para realizar las actividades de la vida cotidiana y el mantenimiento del mayor grado de independencia, siendo fundamental la enseñanza que se pueda brindar al paciente, a su red social cercana y a la comunidad en general

Problems that affect the lower respiratory tract can vary from acute to chronic disorders and many of them are serious, and can be life-threatening, as is the case with this patient. Nursing care and interventions are essential to identify and reduce risk factors, and to understand the impact of the disease on the quality of life and their ability to perform activities of daily living and maintaining the highest degree of independence, being fundamental the education that can be offered to the patient, to his near social network and to the community in general
