The aim of the study was to establish the relationship between the loss of teeth, bruxism and occlusal interferences with Abfraction Dental Attrition in the workers of the sugar factory Tumán - Chiclayo in 2014. The research was descriptive, correlational cross section. The sample consisted of 188 workers from Tuman, located in the district of Chiclayo, Lambayeque selected by intentional nonprobabilistic sampling. The observation and interview technique was used. Data were collected in the "dental Tab" which consists of two parts: data include the intraoral examination having a dental chart with keys to identify the Attrition and Abfraction; and a questionnaire where some parafunctional habits you might have as teeth grinding (bruxism) and the findings of occlusal interferences were collected. All information obtained was tabulated by creating a database using SPSS version 21 program charts and graphs were created with all the results of explanatory type, specifying frequencies and percentages, inferential statistics was also used for the hypothesis testing using of a non-parametric chi square test. The results were that tooth loss has a significant relationship with Abfraction and Attrition; Bruxism has a significant relationship with Abfraction and Attrition unlike what happened with occlusal interferences that have no significant relationship with Abfraction and Attrition.
