The thesis is important because of the issue that has developed, given that the motivation of judicial decisions given to end a conflict, which is resolved in a prudent and responsible manner, to avoid unnecessary judgments and fill loads to the judicial system. As for the general objective of the research work was to establish whether constitutional jurisprudence has effects on the motivation of judicial decisions in civil proceedings, period 2014-2016. In addition, the type of research was explanatory and the application level; in relation to the study population, the Lima Bar Association (CAL) was constituted and the sample was 225 skilled lawyers with a probabilistic of 95% confidence and with a margin of error of 6.5%. Regarding the instruments used for the measurement of the variables, the questionnaire was used by the survey technique with its instrument, which was validated by expert judges who performed the evaluation with the Degree of Doctors in Law, who gave the validation of criteria and construct; as for the statistical test was the chi or square chi, corrected by Yates. The conclusion was that the data obtained and subsequently contrasted allowed to demonstrate that the constitutional jurisprudence has significant effects on the motivation of judicial decisions in civil proceedings, period 2014- 2016.
