In recent years we have witnessed the impact that Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) have resulted in educational processes. His presence makes us wonder about what we think, believe and do in education at all levels, using technology. Universities have different modes of study is classroom, distance learning (ODL) or virtual learning (e-learning). However, in these last two methods are not standardized in terms of development or implementation, or otherwise do not use models and methodologies that reveal the shortcomings of the teaching-learning process, as well as improper use of technological tools, not can meet the needs and requirements of students. No doubt that virtual learning environments and tools such as email, chat, video conferencing, social networks, among others, have extended a two-way communication, to the point that many schools offering training methods face, resort to the use of these tools in order to expand communication between teachers and students. Defines the problem in developing an educational model called blended learning that will cover these shortcomings and the existing models.
