The present research has as a general objective to demonstrate the influence of the nursing intervention in the socialization of the older adult in the rest home Renacer in Lima, 2018. The type of research used is the correlation, the transversal and descriptive method, the level is quantitative, finally the design, not experimental. The population and sample are composed of 41 patients interned in the RENACER nursing home. For data collection, the survey and the questionnaire were handled as a technique and instrument respectively, which obtained a strong reliability of 0.775 for the variable "nursing intervention" and weak in the variable "Socialization" 0.223. The results, according to the data obtained, indicate that 2.44% of the older adults surveyed believe that "almost never" with respect to the intervention variable of Nursing, 9.76% think that "Sometimes"; in addition, 48.78% "Almost always" and 39.02% "Always". In addition, it has a moderately low, direct and positive relationship with the variable Socialization of the Elderly, according to the Spearman correlation of +0.25 represented with a statistical significance of p = 0.877 being greater than 0.05. Therefore, the main hypothesis is accepted, and the null hypothesis is rejected.
