The research aims to determine the incidence of human talent management in the work performance of workers in public institutes Superiors of Technical Training of Metropolitan Lima. The descriptive method and a non-experimental design were used to reach this objective, and the population went to 23 Public Institutes of Higher Education, which are registered in the Regional Direction of Education of Metropolitan Lima and that in total comprises 481 workers between administrative and teaching staff. When calculating the sample size, 214 people were finally surveyed. As for the data collection instrument, the survey consisted of 16 closed-type items, the same ones that were emptied into tables where the frequencies and percentages were calculated, complemented by the analysis and interpretation of the results, which allowed contrasting the hypotheses. Finally, it was concluded that the management of human talent has a direct impact on the labor performance of workers in the Metropolitan Lima Public Technical Training Institutions, as shown by the results obtained from the workers' survey, where the level of 34%, the potential level 12% and the knowledge level of the labor legislation 19%, indicated the most important levels of human talent management, in the same way only 28% of respondents answered that they were constantly evaluates the work performance of the workers of the Public Institutes of Higher Education.
