The objective of this research is to determine the level of meaning of life in parents with children with mental disorders of the Community Mental Health Center "Nancy Reyes Bahamonde, of the district of Chorrillos, Period 2018. The research is descriptive, basic level and with a quantitative approach according to the handling of the data. The research design is non-experimental, cross-sectional. The population is made up of 157 parents who accompany their children between the ages of 5 and 18, to the psychological therapies provided by the Community Mental Health Center "Nancy Reyes Bahamonde" .The sample consists of 65 parents found by the design technique of simple random sampling and the correction factor by finitude. The technique used to collect the information was the she survey and the instrument used was. The Life Sense Test, which evaluates three dimensions: goals in life, satisfaction with life and a sense of achievement. The finding was that level life of parents with children with mental disorders is moderate by 57%. This is because in having a child with a mental disorder; it leads to moments of sadness, worry and uncertainty about the future, both personally and in relation to your child with a disability.
