The research is a descriptive type, since it has as objective to determine the level of Internet addiction in the level of secondary education Manuel Scorza Torres, located in the district of Chorrillos, in order to be able to specify and describe the behavior of a group from students. The research is descriptive, quantitative approach, non-experimental design and cross section. The study population is comprised of 297 secondary school students. The sample is not probabilistic of intentional type composed of 185 adolescents in a range of 13 to 19 years. The sample consisted of 52.4% of young men and 47.6% of young women. The instrument that was used for the evaluation during the Internet Addiction Test (TAI), previously adapted to the Peruvian population. The results refer to the level of addiction to the internet, in a majority group of 56% of students at the level of Internet addiction, while 8% presents a low level. He came to the conclusion that Internet addiction is at the middle level with 56%, which refers to the use and control of this tool, the academic, social and family difficulty.
