Abstract This work arises from the concern about the loss of cultural identity and the lack of values in children today. We consider that through traditional stories, in this case, that of our Andean culture, we can recover the customs and traditions that contribute to the teaching of values. We perceive that this practice of telling narrative stories is being lost in families. The research reviews the elementary concepts about traditional Andean stories, cultural identity, and its great value in school for the training of children and the creation of that link between school and family. The strategy we seek to use is the development of a learning project focused on competencies related to the development of cultural identity. The compilation of stories from the children's family environment is also proposed. We consider that our research contributes to the revitalization of cultural identity and family integration by recovering traditional stories, creating spaces for communication, and teaching at school and homes. Keywords: Bilingual Intercultural Education, Andean stories, pedagogy through stories, cultural identity, revitalization.
