Abstract: Resumen

Abstract The present work entitled “Wisdom of Andean dyeing to stimulate cultural identity” includes bibliographic documentation on the topic related to the ancestral wisdom of Andean dyeing. The main motivation arises from the need to incorporate a pedagogical route with Andean wisdom, for this the diverse review of concepts and perception from an Andean perspective is shown. I consider that this work can stimulate cultural identity in young preschool children because the knowledge of dyeing is something close to children and it is likely that they have seen their mothers or grandparents dyeing, likewise it can be verified that this wisdom is being losing little by little, that is why I am interested in doing this bibliographic review and in this way affirming this ancestral wisdom in early education institutions. Dyeing is a cultural heritage kept in the wisdom of our ancestors, which is being lost due to global issues such as globalization and local issues such as tourism, where cultural practices are becoming tourist products, designed to please visitors. Faced with this, this approach arises from the incorporation of Andean dyeing for a better development of cultural identity. That is why the appreciation and integration of this cultural practice is essential to better work on cultural identity in preschool children, and also to recover the traditional practice of Andean dyeing. For this bibliographic review, research from our Andean culture, interesting articles on dyeing throughout history, texts with scientific details of the components of dyeing, and others, have been taken as reference. Keywords: Dyeing, cultural identity, workshops, pedagogical route
