Abstract The present research work mainly aims to explain the strengthening of the cultural identity of boys and girls, a research proposed from a qualitative approach. Traditional native music is a very important cultural expression in native communities; today it is treated in a non-reflective way. In schools it is not considered to tune in academic activities, even knowing that the diversity that exists in this type of expressions allows us to identify the upbringing of each of them in a certain time and space. Incorporation into the classroom is very important, since it is there where students reflect, learn their culture from the first source, thus obtaining significant learning, fruitful construction and strengthening of cultural identity. It is necessary to propose activities such as the preparation of calendars to visualize the communal experience and the relationship that exists in the environment. The conclusions reached in this research are the following: The existence of diverse musical expressions in a community is the fundamental key to strengthening cultural identity; there are different musical instruments that are still performed in the community. The incorporation of music through a wise musician opens up a wide range of proposals that arise, because when working with this type of characters, not only the theme we are looking for is compiled, on this occasion the execution of the quena or the construction of it, but, all the historical memory that the wise man brings with him. The agrofestival calendar is one of the materials that provides us with facilities to propose projects and sessions at school in harmony with the communal environment. Keywords: Bilingual Intercultural Education, identity, traditional music.
