Abstract In the region of Cusco, in whose rural high Andean provinces still exist ancestral wisdoms such as bone healing "tullu hampinapaq" through medicinal plants that are knowledge of our grandmothers and grandfathers that are still transmitted from generation to generation, however, this valuable knowledge is being excluded by teachers and some community members of the community. There are ways to recover and integrate this knowledge and ancestral knowledge, which is why education is an important component for the conservation of this Andean knowledge. The integration of ancestral wisdom in the educational context has the potential to provide students with tools to take care of their physical and emotional health. This not only allows them to learn about medicinal plants, but also to cultivate a greater connection with nature and develop self-care skills. This ancestral knowledge should be effectively incorporated into the school curriculum in order to promote the wellbeing and health of students. In addition, it is expected to generate awareness and appreciation of local culture and ancestral traditions, as well as to foster the connection between the community and the school.
