The objective of this study is to determine the level of curricular articulation between the Applicant's Profile and the Admission Profile of a State University of Lima in 2019. The population studied was made up of the latest published versions of the “National Basic Education Curriculum” and “General Studies Plan of the School of General Studies” by the MINEDU in 2016 and the State University in 2017 respectively, from which the competencies of the Applicant Profile and the Admission Profile of the State University were extracted. The methodology use the quantitative approach, the Exploratory scope and the Non-experimental design. The results showed that the level of articulation curricular between the Applicant's Profile and the Admission Profile of a State University of Lima in 2019 is 36%, this value indicates a low level of curricular articulation between both profiles.. The analysis also showed that the competences written by the State University are incomplete and do not obey a suitable standard. It is concluded that since the competencies of the Applicant Profile and the Admission Profile are not collaboratively define, the level of curricular articulation between Regular Basic Education and the State University will be low.
