Occupational stress is considered as one of the most important psychosocial factors for the business world, bringing diseases and disorders to the physical and mental level in people. The present thesis consists in the evaluation of the efficiency of the adaptation of a sensor to a biometric equipment for detection of stress in the work, the operation of the sensor was based on the electrodermal phenomenon which is responsible for receiving signals emitted by the sweat glands Present in the palms of the hands. This design is divided into two subsystems an electrodermal sensor and a biometric sensor, the first is composed of a sensor circuit itself that is responsible for measuring the stress level, a converter circuit which will provide a digital value and a display circuit; the electrodermal sensor will be coupled to a biometric fingerprint marking system that uniquely identifies workers, recording their income and at the same time the level of stress. The results obtained from the biometric electrodermal sensor were compared with the results of the Karasek psychological stress questionnaire, determining the efficiency of the equipment.
