This study aims to describe the attitude of teachers towards the learning styles of adult students working in the writing course, night shift of a private university in Lima, during the 2019-I academic period. The students were 128 adult students working in the writing course, night shift of a private university in Lima academic period 2019 - I, of both genders, coming from various careers; specifically, 8 professors of the careers of Engineering, Accounting, Communication Sciences and Health Sciences, who were professors of the investigated population, in the corresponding period. The methodology used develops the mixed approach, descriptive scope and sequential explanatory design. The results that students who have a predominance for the accommodating learning style have. Likewise, a learning style was evidenced according to the career, age and sex. The interviews with teachers showed that in the majority there is an attitude of interest and shallow knowledge of learning styles, there is no coincidence in the classification, lack of methodologies in the design of sessions according to the diversity of learning, and in some cases; manifests irrelevance to consider them in higher education. It is concluded that the learning style modified according to the career, age and gender, evidencing specific characteristics that typify each of the styles. On the other hand, the attitude and commitment of the teacher towards the diversity of learning styles, allows to manage with precision the learning teaching process
