With the Telemetry System proposed in this report, it will be possible to automate the orientation of the antennas installed in the Civic Center to overcome the inconvenience that exists when there is no line of sight between the Mobile Units and the Master Control Center of América Televisión at the moment. to establish microwave links for temporary events.If there is no Line of Sight between the Mobile Unit where the temporary event occurs and the América TV Master Control Center tower, double hop links must be made using the locations in Cerro San Cristóbal, Cerro La Milla or Cerro Shangrilla as repeater stations. for which teams of technicians must travel to perform the manual orientation of the antennas. In the development of this report, we will propose the procedure used for the implementation of a Telemetry System that automatically orients the Civic Center antennas, using two telephone lines to control the orientation of the antennas from the América TV Master Control.With the implementation of this project, cost savings in personnel transfer, fuel savings and optimization of delay times in the orientation of the links are achieved, always maintaining a good quality of the video signal; It is also possible to redirect these resources to the activities carried out by the channel.
