When developing the research, the correlation of collaborative learning and, in turn, the soft skills of the learners is considered as an objective. Said study has a quantitative approach of correlational scope; 50 students from the law school of a northern Lima university were taken as a sample. Therefore, according to Pearson's coefficient, the results obtained were that collaborative learning (A.C.) has a considerable positive correlation of 0.801 in the development of soft skills. In addition, the present study had the purpose of determining how the A.C. develops soft skills (HB) such as leadership that has a moderate positive relationship of 0.671, likewise teamwork had a moderate positive relationship of 0.646 and in relation to effective communication had a considerable positive relationship of 0.796 in the disciples of the The purpose of law school is to contribute to their personal and professional development. Finally, the research concluded that, by using this learning method (collaborative learning) as an education system in the subjects of this career, it encourages the development of students' personal skills, that is, it improves their interpersonal skills, which contributes to their academic growth and within the workplace.
