This report is entitled “Measurement and control of occupational noise in the compressor area of the company INCOVICH E.I.R.L. Espinar - Cusco” has the general objective of Minimizing the level of environmental and occupational noise generated by the company to levels that are below each standard of environmental quality of noise in the environment and each maximum permitted limit of occupational noise, the type of research is quantitative, explanatory, quasi-experimental and was applied in the area of operation in the company. For the monitoring of each noise, 2 pieces of equipment were used, first, a sound level meter and a noise dosimeter. As a result of these initial monitoring, it was determined that each level of environmental noise and occupational noise in it were passing the standards of ambient noise quality (60 dB) and of each maximum limit allowed on occupational noise (85 dB), after which various control aspects were implemented following the control levels of each risk, such as insulation of the compressor by wall and door with a soundproofing system, training, placement of signs and provision of cup-type hearing protectors. After insulating the compressor through a wall and door with a soundproofing system, it was possible to reduce each level of environmental and occupational noise to levels below each standard of environmental quality on noise (60dB) and each maximum limit allowed for occupational noise (85dB).
