The purpose of this research is to carry out a systematic review of research articles regarding the coping strategies used by pregnant adolescents. This systematic review was carried out in 4 databases of articles and research journals in Spanish and English, using a combination of keywords. The selection of studies were selected using the word coping strategy and the synonyms of the words adolescence and pregnancy, and the inclusion criteria were applied, such as studies of coping strategies in pregnant adolescents and studies of the same title in relation to other variables sociodemographic, and exclusion criteria, such as duplicate articles, studies other than pregnant adolescents, and systematic review, finally leaving us with 12 research articles. As a result, different categories of coping strategies were found, so a recategorization of these strategies was carried out for a better analysis and presentation of the results, which were Search for social support, Problem solving, Escape, Cognitive restructuring, Helplessness and emotional regulation. Evidence of socio-demographic variables such as age, sexual education and quality of life was found in relation to the patient and his strategies. It is concluded that the strategy related to the Search for support is the most used, since it was present in 7 of the reviewed studies, and the least used is the strategy of Seeking professional support, Lack of coping, Getting excited and Self-blaming. Furthermore, in reference to age, it is found that this does not influence the use of strategies. Different from sexual education and quality of life that do positively influence coping strategies.
