Abstract: Esta investigación se ha desarrollado mediante la metodología de Revisión Sistemática de Literatura (RSL), con el objetivo de reconocer los efectos sociales conocidos, desconocidos y controvertidos del desabastecimiento de agua potable y saneamiento básico centrados en el bienestar social. Como principales resultados, se encontró que la ausencia de los servicios incrementa las enfermedades diarreicas agudas, infecciones intestinales; los gastos familiares y gubernamentales, así como también fomenta el deterioro de ecosistemas fluviales, ríos y lacustres. En este sentido, se concluye que la falta de servicios básicos afecta la salud, la economía y el medio ambiente, lo que limita el desarrollo y las oportunidades de sus habitantes, debido a la desigualdad de acceso a servicios básicos que se presenta mayormente en lugares periféricos.
This research has carried by literature systematic review methodology with recognizing objective to know, unknow and controversial social effects of shortage to access the basic sanitation and drinking water as much as qualitative and quantitative focused welfare social. As a result, it was water and sanitation shortage increase disease to diarrhea and intestinal infection. Also, this problem relationship between family and social expenditure and worsening to ecosystem. Then, this investing has a conclusion to while water and sanitation shortage has relationship between the disease to healthy, decrease in the local economy and environmental pollution. The social inequality has exacerbated the development and opportunities of communities and people.
