The automation of tests implies a reduction in their cost, not only because they are executed quickly, but also because we can program them to be executed without human intervention, it becomes an important control mechanism to ensure precision and stability. Of the product and significantly reduce the effort spent on regression testing on products that are in continuous maintenance. The objective of this work is to implement a regression test automation system for the FTRK billing application to improve the software certification process in the company Pandora Technologies. Based on the antecedents, the RUP methodology will be used for the development of this research, which consists of 4 phases from initialization, preparation, construction to transition. Regarding the results, the improvement of the certification of the application was obtained, mainly the process, optimizing the level of quality of the software and the reduction of costs related to the certification process, in this sense, a 74% reduction in time was obtained and costs. To which, it is concluded that test automation optimizes the certification process, improving the quality level of the FTRK application and obtaining greaterbenefits in terms of time and cost.
