The need to automate processes is a reality that currently every organization wants, since it simplifies operational tasks, allows reducing times and errors in processes, thus allowing employees to focus their time on activities that require critical thinking as well as strategic activities that add value in a company. That is why the objective of the research project is to implement a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solution that involves improving logistics management and thus generating organizational productivity in a shipping company. To do this, the SCRUM model was used for the main feature of providing a quick response to changes during the implementation project, compared to a traditional methodology, in addition, to considerably reduce documentation and focusing on functional deliverables in the shortest possible time. The nature of the research project allows to divide the design of the process into two times, being the AS IS the flow prior to the implementation and the TO BE referred to the flow of the process with the technological solution implemented. Thanks to these two times, the impact generated by the solution in one of the logistics processes of the company can be evidenced, managing to considerably optimize the time demanded by the process, some reduction of resources and mitigation of errors thanks to the support of a digital assistant or also called bot.
