At the concentratorplant of the mining company Volcan-EA Cerro S.A.C., the rod mill equipment All is Chamers10.5x14, it has lubrication problems of transmission system gear wheel-pinionfor which it does not guarantee reliability of equipmentand the useful life of their components.To comply with the equipment lubrication schedule, the present work describes the implementation of an automatic lubrication system for transmission system gear wheel-pinion of rod mill equipment. To achieve the implementation, it was designed: the lubrication operating part based on progressive centralized lubrication technology, the control portion of the lubrication system using a MicroLogix 1100 with RSLogix 500 software, and lubrication system monitoring using a Panel View800s with CCW software.Research was carried of type explanatory, for obtaining data and calculating parameters, with these data and parameters, components and software were selected of the operational, control and supervision part of the automatic lubrication system.
