Through this thesis is to conduct a study that demonstrates the most appropriate use of different learning styles optimizing academic performance and get better results in the evaluation in differential calculus I students school cycle fluid mechanics National university of San Marcos. The research is basic, a descriptive and correlational design First we proceeded to identify the different learning styles of students according Honey- Alonso learning styles begins This questionnaire asking for age, sex and name. The instrument has a ratio of 80 items on learning styles that are divided into four groups or sections of 20 items corresponding to the four learning styles : active , reflective, theoretical and pragmatic and was validated in the present investigation. All items are randomly distributed to form a single whole. Absolute score the subject obtained in each group of 20 items will be the level reached in each of the four types of learning. The sample obtained was the total population ie 114 students of the first cycle of the National University of San Marcos School fluid mechanics. Among the main results, we found that students are mostly boys, also had a higher predominance of reflective learning style, followed by pragmatic. Obtained which are the theoretical and reflective styles the most relative to their notes.
