The purpose of this study is to describe the technical knowledge of Cosmetic chemistry and the necessary soft skills, which define the profile of graduates of the Master of Science and cosmetic technology, allowing them to take on the challenges that the sector demands. The participants were all the students of the class of 2019, 1 professor of the master's degree and 4 Directors of companies in the cosmetic sector. This work has a qualitative descriptive scope under the case study method. The results showed, a manifest need on the part of the students, to develop topics that contribute to the development of soft skills, being this development the onethatallowedthemtoassumehighpositionswithintheirorganizations.Itwasfoundadesire on the part of the businessmen, to have technical professionals who are experts in managing technical teams, with soft skills that allow them to lead the teams in charge without problems. It is concluded that the profile of the graduates of the Master of Science and Cosmetic Technology must contain, in addition to consolidated technical knowledge, developed Soft Skills, the most outstanding being Leadership, Assertive Communication and Teamwork, to assume the challenges that the sectordemand.
