The objective of the research is to describe how collaborative digital tools contribute to the application of the case method in students of a private university in Arequipa 2020-2. As part of the methodology, the research was carried out with a qualitative approach, descriptive scope and phenomenological design, taking as a sample 15 students from the General Administration course of a private university in Arequipa. The interview technique was used and an unstructured interview guide was used as an instrument. It was concluded that collaborative digital tools contribute to the application of the case method in students of the university where the research was carried out. This is based on what was stated by the students and taking into account all the activities that were carried out for it. It can be inferred that the use of collaborative digital tools has greatly helped the execution of the class and they have contributed to the online work carried out by the students. On the other hand, the case method has included in its execution the search for information (research), information analysis, group debate and presentation of the solution to the proposed case, everything has been made possible using collaborative digital tools taking into account that in this context everything is worked in a virtual way. Likewise, the use of the tools and the case methodology is recommended to be able to work on it in person.
