In order to carry out the present investigation in the earthmoving activity of the paving project located in Cerro Colorado - Arequipa, the objective is to determine the concentration of particulate matter to which the workers are exposged. The activities that were developed were applied according to international standardized methods, which were a tool to obtain a better veracity of the required results. Work management seeks only the improvement of jobs in the construction sector, because according to annual statistics, the construction sector is where it has more consequences of occupational diseases. To this end, control barriers will be proposed in order to minimize occupational risks. Once the monitoring results were obtained, they were compared with the standards given by the current legislation D.S. 015 - 2005 - SA, which was determined to exceed the maximum permissible limits, by which it is concluded that earthmoving activity has great potential to harm the health of workers in the future.
