To determine the influence of work motivation on the burnout syndrome of early childhood education professors in private institutions in Miraflores in 2021, a quantitative, cross-sectional and descriptive-correlational research was carried out. Two validated and standardized questionnaires were used: the Job Motivation Scale and the Maslach Burnout Inventory, which were applied to 165 initial education teachers from private schools in Miraflores using Google Forms and social networks for their dissemination, it was analyzed with the SPSS Statistics 26 program. In relation to the results, these indicated that work motivation significantly influences burnout syndrome with a moderate negative correlation of Spearman's Rho (rho = -. 594), likewise, it was evidenced that 88% of teachers have high motivation and only 4% of them have burnout. Similarly, around 90% of educators show high values in three of the five components of motivation. Concluding that the higher the intrinsic motivation (autonomy and the worker's own interest), the lower the risk of suffering from the syndrome.
