According to the extra official figures, artisanal mining was increasing in 2016, the same that produced 120 tons of copper, for this year and last year there is not a determining figure. This leads us to presage that there is an increase in production, but not a formal record of production. All these data demonstrate the enormous potential of this activity to generate more employment, contribute to poverty reduction, local development, and obtain tax revenues. However, one of the great challenges for the government is to motivate artisanal mining to adapt to more efficient environmental methods in its concentrate plants, which should have at least their studies of soils, seismic and their implication in the environment for that the necessary security measures can be given when placing a formal plant, since, although mining has a lot of potential, it also faces many problems such as disorder in the villages, the absence of basic services, environmental pollution , among others. But for the first time in the history of Peru, the existence of artisanal mining was recognized in 2002 with the promulgation of the new “law of formalization and promotion of small-scale mining and artisanal mining”, this event completely changed the lives of artisanal miners, since with this they have access to their own mining concessions in free areas and businesses with existing mining holders. As we know, the processes of obtaining metals such as copper, gold, etc. They vary quite a lot depending on the mines, in the case of artisanal mining, their procurement processes are simpler or basic, in which a lot of budget is not required so that the miners can also in some way or another make the artisanal mining They find it profitable and even very beneficial. In the case of hydrometallurgical processes, which is a universal practice for the recovery of copper, which has had a rather notable boom in our country. All this not only applies to metals such as copper, but also to minerals called precious metals such as gold and polymetallic miners. During the realization of this work, we propose to build an artisanal copper recovery plant, which must be installed in a safe area, since it is seen that leaching processes are carried out to recover copper from minerals such as crisocola, malachite and the bornite that is in the veins will be treated with sulfuric acid
