For the normal development of the exploitation process, it is required that the extracted material (limestone) be transported by means of vehicle units of the tipper type, and it is in this part of the process, where one of the main causes of accidents is manifested, namely: the speeding. On the other hand, Empresa Minera No Metálica Cal y Cemento Sur S.A. has had several complaints from community members and residents of the place about the excessive speed that their units use when transporting limestone. For these reasons, Empresa Minera No Metálica Cal y Cemento Sur S.A. has seen fit to implement and apply a geofence in order to control speeding and consequently reduce accidents related to limestone transport; Such was the positive impact generated by the application of this geofence that both minor and disabling accidents were significantly reduced: from 11 minor accidents and 9 disabling accidents recorded between the years 2016 - 2017, after the application of the geofence (January 2018 ) 3 minor accidents and 2 incapacitating accidents were registered between the years 2018 - 2019. The benefits of geofence are remarkable since it was possible to reduce work accidents by 70%. The following activities were carried out for the development of the thesis: Visual inspection of the section of the road studied, the hazards were identified and the risks were evaluated in the entire section of the road, software programming (geofence) and an analysis was carried out. statistical of the results obtained. Among the instruments used for the development of the thesis, are: Plans, maps, software (Google earth), GPS, excel, calculator, D.S. 024-2016 EM, internet.
