The present thesis, was based on the application of the program of qualitative adjustment test with saccharin, in the workers of the metalworking workshop of the company GERENPRO S.A.C. The research was developed in several stages, from information search, program development, procedures, formats, data processing obtained from company workers and analysis of the results that allowed the adjustment and size of respirators. First, a questionnaire was made to the workers, in order to determine the knowledge they have about their respirators; the application of the adjustment test program was developed, and 29 CFR 1910. 134 – OSHA Application A - Adjustment Testing Procedure was used as a guideline for its development and compliance with the objectives. Statistical techniques were used to analyze data, which allowed the presentation of easily understood results.
