The current situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic instability that exists in the country, of which the fear of investingat this time is ambiguous, that is why another alternative solution was chosen, whichis to redesign and improve the Lifting System of Shaft 7801 of the Inclined New Century for the Increase of Production of the Mercedes Vein in the case of study. The methodology of this thesis consisted firstly in making the diagnosis of the Century Mining company and then the calculation of the cable and the optimal winch to choose was carried out to establish the work cycle of the lifting system, which will produce 68 MT / day of mineral, which entails a production goal of 2070 MT per month. The results obtained after the redesign is that the lifting system in the inclined 7801 new century was improved and the production of the mineral was increased from 30 MT / day to 69 MT / day, in addition to that, thanks to the feasibility analysis of the project, it was obtained which is highly cost effective and the redesign of the sloped shaft in the sleeve installation greatly improved the design and air circulation in the current duct vent design from 43,060 CFM to 43,941 CFM and also received a reduction in lifting costs of S/.16.79 at S/.10.27 per metric ton. Finally, to conclude, thanks to the calculations carried out for the redesign of the included, significant improvements were achieved for the company, as well as the economic benefits, increasing production and reducing downtime
