This thesis shows the development of a testing platform control algorithms for unmanned aerial vehicles, in which a DJI-F450 Quadrotor is coupled in a mechanical structure, which allows maneuver the UAV in 3 of its 6 degrees of freedom. To achieve stability Quadrotor has developed a LQR Control, also a simulator based on Simulink 3D Animation. The test platform was designed in SolidWorks, then the wooden base and aluminum 3GDL mechanism was built; to ensure the stability of the platform to shocks from the Quadrotor, was made a finite element analysis FEA, where satisfactory results were obtained. Also, under the principle of reverse engineering, has developed the Quadrotor's CAD to find its physical properties and also to create virtual environments in VRML. With this test platform, the student or researcher has a tool, which can implement various control strategies, either physical or virtual in Simulink / Matlab. The program code, CAD drawings of the platform and system properties will be available to be used on university laboratories. Simulation results and cost analysis are also shown in this thesis project.
