In previous decades and today, continuous improvement is spoken of as a concept of good practices that must be internalized in companies. Inthis context, this thesis proposes the following methodology applied to the management of suppliers, focused on the evaluation of suppliers, which forms one of the important parts in logistics. However, it is very recurrent not to give the necessary importance to this process since it can be affected as an activity that does not generate value to the final customer, and although this activity is not perceived by the final customer, if it allows to maintain adequate control of the suppliers, who are those who provide the goods and services necessary to meet the expectations of the end customer. The objective is to propose a methodology for the evaluation and monitoring of supplier performance, using the AHPtool and control charts. To achieve this we turn to the DMAIC methodology that will give us the basic guidelines to continue with the process of continuous improvement. It will be possible to increase the performance of suppliers by 21.92%. With the methodology proposed for the evaluation of suppliers, the solution will be given to the problem of maintaining adequate control of the suppliers, the necessary guidelines to measure, maintain, improve and reduce the variation in the performance of the suppliers.
