The research work entitled "DETERMINATION OF THE LEVEL OF CONCENTRTION OF VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS (VOC) PRESENT IN MASSAGES AND THE EFFECTS THAT CAN PRODUCE ON THE HEALTH OF WORKERS IN THE SHOP OF PAINTINGS ‘SATIN MASTER’", was carried out at the company " Satinados Master”, located at Av. Mariscal Castilla Nº 705 - C, Miraflores district, province and department of Arequipa. The purpose of this research work was to determine the level of concentration of VOCs to which workers in the company are exposed, through occupational monitoring of VOCs, following the OSHA methodology Section II: Chapter 3 "Technical equipment: measurements on site" and using the MultiRAE gas detector as an instrument, after having the results, we proceeded to compare them with the Allowable Limit Values for chemical agents at work according to the DS 015-2005-SA; Subsequently, the effects that may occur on the health of workers were identified and control measures were proposed to reduce the risk of exposure to volatile organic compounds. The population consisted of 2 workers, and the sample was equivalent to the population. The research work concludes that the results of the occupational monitoring of the VOCs found did not exceed the permissible limit values of the D.S. 015-2005-SA, but there is a medium and high Risk Index for worker 1 and 2, respectively, that is why, control measures are an important factor to reduce the exposure of workers to these chemicals.
