Abstract: El presente trabajo de investigación ha tenido como objetivo determinar la satisfacción de los
estudiantes de Educación del X ciclo con su formación universitaria en una universidad
privada de Lima. Se ha realizado un estudio cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental,
transversal y descriptivo simple. Participaron 62 estudiantes de las carreras de Educación
Inicial, Educación Primaria y Educación Secundaria. Se aplicó el Cuestionario para Valorar
la Satisfacción de los Estudiantes Universitarios con la Educación (SEUE), diseñado y
validado por Gento y Vivas (2003). Como resultado se obtuvo que la mayoría de los
estudiantes se ubicó en el nivel de muy satisfecho respecto a la satisfacción global (59.7%);
asimismo los porcentajes más altos (entre 43.5% y 56.5%) en nueve de las diez dimensiones
correspondieron a este nivel. Se concluye, por tanto, que la mayoría de estudiantes se
muestran muy satisfechos con la carrera elegida.
The objective of this research work has been to determine the satisfaction of the students of Education of the X cycle with their university training in a private university in Lima. A simple descriptive, cross-sectional, non-experimental design, quantitative study has been carried out. Participants were 69 students of Initial Education, Primary Education and Secondary Education careers. The Questionnaire was applied to assess the satisfaction of University Students with Education (SEUE), designed and validated by Gento and Vivas (2003). As a result, it was obtained that most of the students were very satisfied in the global satisfaction (59.7%); likewise, the highest percentages (between 43.5% and 56.5%) in nine of the ten dimensions corresponded to this level. It is concluded, therefore, that the majority of students were very pleased with the choice of their career.
