Actitud hacia la investigación científica en estudiantes del programa de acompañamiento para la titulación de una universidad privada de Lima

Abstract

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue identificar el nivel de actitud hacia la investigación científica en estudiantes del Programa de Acompañamiento para la Titulación de una universidad privada de Lima. Para ello, se desarrolló una investigación básica de enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño no experimental descriptivo simple. El muestreo fue no probabilístico de tipo accidental y la muestra estuvo constituida por 58 estudiantes, la mayoría pertenencia al sexo femenino (83%). Se empleó como instrumento la Escala de Actitud hacia la investigación científica AECIN de Aldana et al. Los resultados evidenciaron que el 77.6 % de estudiantes presentaba un alto nivel de actitud hacia la investigación científica, alcanzando el 22.4 % de los estudiantes una actitud neutra, ningún estudiante presentó una actitud baja hacia la investigación científica; se encontró además que el nivel de actitud de los estudiantes variaba en función del sexo, siendo las mujeres las que presentaron un mayor nivel de actitud hacia la investigación científica. Se concluyó que la mayoría de los estudiantes que participaron en la investigación presentan un nivel alto de actitud hacia la investigación científica.

The objective of the present research was to identify the level of attitude towards scientific research in students of the Support Program for Graduation from a private university in Lima. For this purpose, basic quantitative research was carried out, with a non-experimental simple descriptive design. The sampling was non-probabilistic accidental type and the sample consisted of 58 students, most of them being female (83%). The Attitude towards Scientific Research Scale (AECIN) by Aldana et al. was used as the instrument. The results showed that 77.6% of students had a high level of attitude towards scientific research, while 22.4% of students had a neutral attitude, with no student having a low attitude towards research. It was also found that the level of attitude varied according to gender, with women showing a higher level of attitude towards research. It was concluded that most students who participated in the research have a high level of attitude towards scientific research.
