Actitud docente hacia las personas con discapacidad en una institución educativa del Caynarachi, provincia de Lamas

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general describir la actitud docente hacia las personas con discapacidad de una institución educativa de Caynarachi, provincia de Lamas. El diseño de investigación fue no experimental, transeccional descriptivo simple. Se trabajó con toda la población conformada por seis docentes. Se utilizó como instrumento la Escala de Actitudes hacia las Personas con de Discapacidad de Verdugo, Jenaro y Arias (1994). Se llegó a concluir que el 66.67% de docentes manifiestan actitudes negativas frente a las personas con discapacidad, lo cual constituye un tópico de reflexión institucional que conlleve a revertir esta situación.

The present investigation had as a general objective to describe the teaching attitude towards people with disabilities in an educational institution in Caynarachi, province of Lamas. The research design was non-experimental, simple descriptive transactional. We worked with the entire population made up of six teachers. The Scale of Attitudes towards People with Disabilities by Verdugo, Jenaro and Arias (1994) was used as an instrument. It was concluded that 66.67% of teachers manifest negative attitudes towards people with disabilities, which constitutes a topic of institutional reflection that leads to reversing this situation.
