Inteligencia emocional en docentes del nivel primario en el distrito de San Juan de Miraflores

Abstract

El objetivo de la presente investigación es describir la inteligencia emocional en docentes del nivel primario en el distrito de San Juan de Miraflores. Se realizó una investigación descriptiva, con un enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 92 docentes del nivel primario siendo probabilística. El instrumento utilizado en esta investigación es el Inventario de Bar -On Ice (1988) utilizando la adaptación para el contexto peruano de Ugarriza (2001). Los resultados obtenidos en la presente investigación muestran que el nivel de inteligencia emocional en los docentes se encuentra en su mayoría en un nivel alto, presentando un buen desarrollo de la misma.

The objective of the present research is to describe emotional intelligence in primary school teachers in the district of San Juan de Miraflores. A descriptive research was conducted, with a quantitative approach, using a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 92 primary school teachers, selected through probabilistic sampling. The instrument used in this research is the Bar-On Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i), using the adaptation for the Peruvian context by Ugarriza (2001). The results obtained in this research show that the level of emotional intelligence in teachers is mostly high, indicating a good development in this aspect.
