Alfabetización informacional, competencia digital y actitud hacia el uso educativo de las tecnologías de información y comunicación en docentes de un instituto de educación superior

Abstract

El objetivo general fue establecer la relación entre la alfabetización informacional, la competencia digital y la actitud hacia el uso educativo de las tecnologías de información y comunicación en docentes de un instituto de educación superior. El diseño utilizado fue no experimental, transversal y correlacional no causal. El tipo de muestreo utilizado fue no probabilístico intencional y la muestra estuvo conformada por 250 docentes de ambos sexos de 24 a 65 años de un instituto de educación superior de la ciudad de Lima. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron el Cuestionario Desarrollo de Habilidades Informativas, el Cuestionario sobre Competencias Digitales en docentes universitarios y la Escala de actitud del docente universitario hacia el uso educativo de las TIC. Entre los principales resultados se halló que existe relación significativa, alta y positiva entre las variables en docentes de un Instituto de Educación superior de la ciudad de Lima Metropolitana. The general objective was to establish the relationship between information literacy, digital competence and the attitude towards the educational use of information and communication technologies in teachers of a higher education institute. The design used was non-experimental, transversal and non-causal correlational. The type of sampling used was intentional non-probability and the sample consisted of 250 teachers of both sexes, aged 24 to 65, from a higher education institute in the city of Lima. The instruments used were the Information Skills Development Questionnaire, the Questionnaire on Digital Competences in university teachers and the Scale of attitude of the university teacher towards the educational use of ICT. Among the main results, it was found that there is a significant, high and positive relationship between the variables in teachers of an Institute of Higher Education in the city of Metropolitan Lima. The implications of the results have been discussed.
