There is a low level of domain processes perceptive, lexical, syntactic and semantic in students with learning difficulties in the processes of reading, in which an intervention plan increases significantly the level of mastery of the reading process in the third graders, of private educational institutions. The objective of our research was to describe the cognitive manifestations presenting students with learning difficulties in the process of reading. Research was by quantitative case study, the design was of multiple cases and the technique was experimental, where the variable was managed along the plan of action, taking into account the difficulties and characteristics of each student. The sample was conformed by two students, girl and boy, from the third grade with difficulties in the processes perceptive, lexical, syntactic and semantic reading, both of the District of Surco private educational institutions. PROLEC-R, PROESC, EVAMAT 2 evaluation instruments were administered. Likewise it could corroborate that there is a low level of mastery of processes perceptive, lexical, syntactic and semantic, in third grade students with learning difficulties in the processes of reading, educational institutions private respectively. It was finally found that the intervention plan significantly increases the level of mastery of the reading process.
