The management of human talent and the teaching performance are determining factors in the quality of the educational process; since, they demand capacities, talents and abilities, of those that manage the educational institutions. All with the purpose of responding to the needs of a society in constant change and with diverse needs. However, throughout history, there have been difficulties in educational management, impacting on the teaching performance and therefore in the educational process. This study is non-experimental, transversal and the scope of the research is correlational, which had as a general objective, to determine the level of relationship between the management of human talent and the teaching performance in two educational institutions of Metropolitan Lima, and they used two instruments: Casa (2015) to measure the management of human talent and Juárez (2012) to measure teacher performance. The population covered a total of 148 teachers and the sample 120 teachers. The research showed that there is a significant relationship between human talent management and teacher performance.
