The purpose of this qualitative academic work is to improve the inadequate use of curricular management to address pedagogical strategies affecting the level of learning achievement in the area of mathematics in students of the VI cycle. The in-depth interview was designed and applied to a sample of 10 teachers; with the purpose of identifying their perception about the inadequate use of curricular management to attend pedagogical strategies affecting the level of learning achievement in the area of mathematics in the students of the VI cycle of the I.E. "José María Arguedas" from the town center of Shunqui, district of the Union, Province Dos de Mayo, Huánuco. Among the most outstanding conclusions we have that: The director as a pedagogical leader is the main person in charge of school management, he is the one who must train effective leaders within the school. Motivated teachers will shape their pedagogical practice in their classroom, thereby improving their students' learning. Professional learning communities is a strategy that will allow teachers to work, managing to improve educational quality through distributive leadership, collaborative work, and professional development among peers. It is essential to work with students on reading comprehension, since this will allow them to read with a critical, reflective sense, so that they are able to express their opinion about what they read, thus allowing them to be competent in the society in which they live and work with. students the resolution of mathematical problems, since this will allow them significant learning.
