The pedagogical proposal Aprendo graficando has the objective of developing the mathematical competence of solving problems of form, movement and location in third year high school students of a public institution in Surquillo. A propositive thesis was elaborated, of explanatory level and quantitative design, for the validation of the pedagogical proposal the instrumental design was used. The study group consisted of students between 13 and 15 years of age. The program Aprendo Graficando was developed based on the problems-solving approach through the use of information technologies or software. The validity of the program was determined by means of the expert judgment technique, which was made up of 7 masters in the area. The coefficient obtained from Aiken’s V was 0.95 and it was concluded that the pedagogical proposal meets the objective of developing the competence. Finally, the program Aprendo Graficando is a proposal that motivates and encourages students to solve problems of form, movement and location in third year high school students.
